MBA student ready to graduate and make a difference.

Amber Grady

Bellevue University MBA student Amber Grady wants to make a difference in the lives of others. It’s a lofty goal, but one she’s already achieved in many ways. Grady served as co-president of a non-profit adult literacy program that offered tutoring for adults at no cost in the areas of basic education, GED readiness, English speakers of other languages, and digital literacy. She most recently worked as a youth financial literacy facilitator, as well.

Now Grady is on track to graduate with her MBA in February 2024. Armed with her new degree, she’s confident she can make an even greater impact in her community. She said the program has strengthened her skills and confidence as an effective leader.

“This degree will help me enter a career that aligns with my values and be effective in inspiring organizational changes to support the health of individuals, communities, and the organization,” Grady said. “The MBA program has challenged me to examine business functions individually and how they integrate, while sharpening my analytical and theoretical skills. I learned more about myself, others and the business world.”

Grady said she’s appreciated how courses are creatively designed to provide engaging, hands-on experiences that apply to concepts learned through textbooks and supportive materials.

“I really would like to thank Bellevue University and the College of Business for their dedication in evolving the MBA program to align with the ever-changing business world,” Grady said. “This effort helps students like me prepare with practical skills needed to be successful in their endeavors post-graduation.”
