Pratt Award helps students and alumni realize their business dreams

Since 2014, Bellevue University has fueled the business dreams of nearly 50 students and alumni through the Tom and Annie Pratt Entrepreneurial Award Program. Award winners receive up to $5,000 to help fund their innovative business ideas, whether it’s in the concept, start-up or expansion phase. Academic journals feature articles from COB professor, adjuncts and alum

College of Business Associate Professor Dishant Pandya recently co-authored a study published in the Journal of Finance and Accounting. The study, The Effect of Board Composition on Long-Term Firm Performance: NASDAQ versus NYSE, examines the impact of the 2003 board-independence mandate on the long-term financial performance of publicly traded U.S. companies that are traded on the country’s two largest stock exchanges.  Continue Reading
