Sometimes innovation comes from ideas you think should be obvious to everyone. At the College of Business, we ask students in our two doctoral programs – the Ph.D. in Human Capital Management and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) – to be both scholars and practitioners. Both programs stress that students be able to immediately apply their rigorous research to make an impact on their organizations. And it turns out that’s a rare approach to doctoral education.
Read more about what makes the Ph.D. in Human Capital Management so unique in the Faculty Focus article featuring Greg Ashley, a professor and longtime director of the program. Also in this issue, we highlight a current student and recent graduate of the Human Capital Management program. They both talk about how their doctoral work is already making a meaningful impact on their organizations. And if you’re curious to learn more about all this innovative learning, our Degrees of Note feature takes a closer look behind our Ph.D. in Human Capital Management and Doctor of Business Administration.
