Innovation remains at the core of what we do.
Roughly 20 years ago, the College of Business first offered a bachelor’s degree in supply chain and logistics management. It was designed for working adults with an emphasis on real-world application – a revelation at the time. Now we’re on the verge of offering our first master’s degree in supply chain management, also with an emphasis on real-world application and developed with critical input from industry leaders. Two decades later, innovation remains at the core of what we do. Some things never change, unlike the world of supply chain management.
In this edition, we highlight our supply chain management bachelor’s degrees and their dedicated faculty and students. I encourage you to read about the visits our residential supply chain management students take to area businesses, an experience that greatly enhances the classroom material they learn. The pandemic interrupted these visits but thankfully they’re back. We also feature our two newest supply chain management faculty members, Darrell Aubrey and Chamith Wasage, and a recent alum who is thriving at one of North America’s largest logistics companies. Finally, we share some exciting news about the newly developed Master of Science in Supply Chain Management degree that we’ll begin offering in the 2023-24 academic year.
Of course, if you want to know more about anything the College of Business is doing, my door is always open, as is my inbox. Contact me.
